A field trip
I remember that as a youngster one the nicest things with the school was to go on a field trip to see something new, like a museum or some weird institution. As you get older you sort of need to organise most of your adventures by yourself.
This time we didn’t need to do much more than sign in and show up. The event was the D&AD awards judging at the beautiful Olympia Exhibition Centre. D&AD had organised guided tours for people to see what goes on behind the curtains.
The amount of work was just too much to handle, and we didn’t even see nearly all the categories. Luckily for me I happened to have a glance at the student awards work from the brief we took part in. I must say that our works are in a very good company, scary huh? It was also really nice to see some work from Finnish design agencies such as Kokoro & Moi in the professional section.
